Class Description
In our Jazz Junior Swans program, we blend dynamic movements with creative themes to further develop young dancers' jazz skills. Children are encouraged to explore their individual style and rhythm while mastering essential jazz techniques in an exciting and supportive environment. Our curriculum focuses on improving coordination, strength, and flexibility, providing a solid foundation for more advanced dance styles. Designed for 6 to 9-year-olds, this class helps dancers build confidence, refine their skills, and deepen their passion for jazz.

Our Policy
Dance Studio Policies – Le Petit Swan Dance Academy 1. Enrolment & Fees Students must be officially enrolled before attending classes. Term fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable, including in cases of absence or withdrawal. Make-up classes may be offered within the same term if space is available. 2. Attendance & Punctuality Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, ready to start on time. Regular attendance is key to skill development and class consistency. Repeated lateness or absence may affect a student’s progress and participation in performances. 3. Attire & Footwear Correct dancewear and footwear are required for all classes. Hair must be tied back securely. Jewellery or accessories that pose safety risks are not allowed. 4. Health & Safety Medical conditions, allergies, or special needs must be disclosed at enrolment. Students showing signs of illness should stay home until fully recovered. Water bottles are encouraged; food is not allowed in the studio. 5. Parent/Guardian Involvement & Supervision To support independence and reduce distractions, parents are not permitted inside the studio during lessons unless invited. Children may not remain in the waiting area without a guardian present. Please ensure your child uses the toilet before class. As toilets are located outside the studio, guardians are responsible for escorting children if needed. Students must be picked up promptly after class to not disturbe the flow of the studio class schedule. Staff are not responsible for supervising students outside of scheduled class times. Food is not allowed in the studio or reception. A café is available on the ground floor. 6. Behaviour & Conduct Students are expected to show respect toward teachers and peers. Disruptive behaviour or repeated non-compliance may lead to suspension or dismissal. All students are encouraged to listen, try their best, and stay positive. 7. Photography & Media Photos or videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional use. If you do not want your child included, please notify us in writing at enrolment. 8. Liability & Injury Dance involves physical activity and carries inherent risk. The studio and staff are not liable for injuries due to failure to follow instructions, misuse of equipment, inappropriate behaviour, or undisclosed medical issues. By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these terms.
